About

Hi!  I’m Danelle Cash, a French teacher at a big public high school in Hoover, Alabama.  Our school started working towards a 1:1 Engaged Learning Initiative in the 2012-2013 school year.  Currently, our students all have Chromebooks, but there was once a time when they all had iPads.  The purpose for this blog started out so that I would have a place to reflect about using technology in the classroom, but it’s evolved to be a general place of reflection and writing about teaching and learning.

I started teaching in February of 2012. I have a Bachelor’s degree in French and a Master’s degree in ESL Education- both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  I teach French 2, 3, AP, and Career Prep at our school.  Follow me on twitter!  @inconnue_21  and Instagram @mmedcash
